DanceBetter is an AI-powered dance coach that analyses your movements from uploaded videos and provides personalised feedback to help you improve your technique.
Our AI uses advanced motion tracking and pose comparison to evaluate your performance against reference dancers, highlighting accuracy, balance, and timing.
You can create an account using Google, Facebook, or your email. Social sign-in (Google/Facebook) is the easiest and fastest option. Or if you prefer email, simply enter your email and password on the Register page. However, if you sign up with your email you have to verify your account first.
Check your inbox for an email from DanceBetter. Click the link that says "Click here to verify your account."

Check your Spam or Promotions folder, wait a minute or two, or request a new verification email from the login page. If it still does not arrive, contact support.
To achieve the best results:
- Use bright, even lighting
- Keep the camera stable and level (a tripod is recommended)
- Ensure your full body is visible from head to toe
- Choose a distraction-free background
It is possible, but not recommended. Movement from other people can confuse the AI and cause tracking interruptions. For best results, record where only you — or your partner or group — are visible.
Yes. Avoid filters, beauty modes, slow-motion, time-lapse, or very low-quality settings. These distort natural movement and may cause tracking issues. A normal-speed, clear recording works best.
Tickets are used to analyse your videos on DanceBetter. Each time you submit a video for analysis, tickets are deducted from your balance.
When you purchase a subscription plan, you receive a specific number of tickets each month as part of your subscription benefits, along with other included perks.
You can also purchase ticket packages as a flexible pay-as-you-go option or as add-on tickets. Available packages include:
- 200 tickets
- 1,000 tickets
- 5,000 tickets
- 20,000 tickets
When submitting an analysis, DanceBetter will automatically use your available subscription tickets first (if applicable), then your purchased tickets.
If you run out of monthly subscription tickets, you can purchase add-on tickets and continue analysing without waiting for the next billing cycle.
Unused subscription monthly tickets expire at the end of the month. However, add-on tickets remain available until used.
Yes. When you buy tickets without an active subscription, your account is automatically set to the Basic plan. While you can unlock locked features with tickets, your video analysis history is only stored for 30 days on the Basic plan. After 30 days, past analyses, feedback reports, and timestamps are automatically removed and cannot be recovered. To keep long-term access to your analysis history and enjoy additional subscription benefits, upgrading to a subscription is recommended.
Deep Analysis provides a more detailed breakdown with time-stamped feedback in four areas: Head & Focus, Arms & Lines, Posture & Core, and Footwork.

Yes. Based on your analysis, DanceBetter can generate a personalised practice schedule to help you improve faster. For each improvement point, the schedule includes:
- A clear goal (what to improve)
- Instructions (how to practise it)
- A suggested time plan (how long to focus on it)

Yes. Uploaded videos are encrypted, processed privately, and never shared without your permission.
Yes. You can delete videos from your History page, and account data can be removed upon request through the Contact Us page.
